
Just in time for the start of the third quarter of 2025 (QRC3), SAP is presenting an update for SAP Analytics Cloud that clearly focuses on increasing productivity and user-friendliness – with a particular focus on the targeted use of artificial intelligence in reporting and planning. With the Q3 2025 release, SAP Analytics Cloud introduces a completely redesigned home page concept. At the core of the innovation are five new, freely positionable cards, which, combined with expanded customization options, enable a customized work environment.

In addition, existing maps such as Recent Files, Featured Files, Calendar Highlights and Data Change Insights Functionally expanded. New features include search and filter functions within the maps, as well as optimized filter logic for stories, models, and other content.
All cards can be freely positioned; the layout automatically responds to changes. Using the new Customize button in the top right, cards can be shown or hidden without having to go through the hassle of switching to the user settings.

With this revision, SAP is clearly prioritizing usability and personalization. Users receive direct access to the functions and information most relevant to them, which not only makes it easier to get started with SAC but should also sustainably increase usage frequency.
With the Q3 2025 release, SAP Analytics Cloud introduces AI-powered Advanced Formula Generation, significantly simplifying the development process for data actions. Two new AI features are available in the Advanced Formula Editor:

This eliminates much of the manual effort required for both creating and documenting scripts. Readability and maintainability are significantly improved, especially in complex planning models.
This premium AI feature not only accelerates the implementation of complex planning logic, but also ensures greater transparency, traceability, and maintainability in the SAC planning process.
With the Q3 2025 release, SAP Analytics Cloud introduces a feature that significantly accelerates the step from analysis to presentation: AI-powered automatic chart summaries.
This feature identifies the key messages of a diagram in SAC and automatically generates a concise text description that can be directly imported into PowerPoint or other presentation media. Trends, anomalies, and relevant key figures are summarized in clear, everyday language – without the user having to write their own analysis.

With the Q3 2025 release, SAP is taking a major step forward: The new Optimized Table Experience combines the familiar functionality of classic tables with a modern, more consistent interface and numerous productivity improvements.
