ARRIVAL

To make your trip to us as pleasant as possible, we would like to give you some useful information about how to get there.

Arrival by train
The event site is easily accessible from Essen Central Station by public transport. Use the "Zollverein" (tram line 107, also known as the "Kulturlinie") or "Zollverein-Nord" (tram line 107, bus lines 170 and 183, and regional train RB32) stops. Alternatively, you can also use the "Kokerei Zollverein" and "Kohlenwäsche" (bus line 183) stops.

Arrival by car
The city of Essen's excellent motorway connections make your journey by car easy and convenient.

Parking
Ample parking is available for guests arriving by car. To get to the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, please enter "Fritz-Schupp-Allee" into your navigation system. If you're heading to the Zollverein Coking Plant, use the address "Arendahls Wiese." Free parking is available at both locations and is signposted accordingly:

Zollverein Coking Plant: Parking C

Parking lot A2 consists of two separate, unconnected areas. There is also the Zollverein parking deck on the coking plant site (address: Im Welterbe 11).
Costs: 1,80 €/hour or 7,50 € for a day ticket
Payment: Only cashless with EC card possible
E-mobility: Four charging points (22 kW fast chargers) for electric vehicles are available.

OVERNIGHT STAY

If you need an overnight stay, we recommend the Hotel Friends in Essen, which is located directly at the event location. Please Please note in the registration form, if you need a room at the Hotel Friends (€149/night). We have a limited number of rooms available for you. Further hotel recommendations near the venue and very centrally located can be found below.

Participation in the event is free of charge.
With your confirmation or registration, we will reserve a place for you.
Free cancellation is possible up to 14 calendar days before the event. The date of receipt of the cancellation in written form (e.g., by email) is decisive.
In the event of a later cancellation or no-show without prior cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation or compensation fee of EUR 150,00 per registered person.

During the event, photos and videos will be taken. INSIRE may use these for marketing and communication purposes; if you do not wish to appear in any recordings, please inform us in advance or on site.
